three little birds

Rise up this mornin'
Smile with the risin' sun
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstepSingin' sweet songs
Of melody pure and true
Sayin' this is my message to you, 'ou, 'ouSingin', don't worry 'bout a thing
'Cause every little thing's gonna' be alright
Singin', don't worry 'bout a thing
'Cause every little thing's gonna' be alright! Thank you to Lucy of Attic24 for the perfect tutorial(s) for these whimsical little birds. They sing to me. Thank you to Bob Marley for the song they sing. Here's one of our favorite versions by Elizabeth Mitchell.

Have a great weekend, Everyone!

those little birds are so charming! I must teach the young girls in my crochet class how to make these. They will love them! Thanks so very much for sharing them and their sweet song ~Melly~

You made my heart sing with this bright post! I think I need some "Don't worry birds" in my nest...a cheery and pretty reminder.

beautiful birds. I adore them and their bright colours. If I could make them, I would love to hang them on a real tree. When the weather warms up though.
