I had a vision for a seed stitch beanie and I had a skein of Malabrigo worsted in Brillante. I put them together and now have a great hat! I wanted the seed stitch to go right to the edge, no ribbing, so used a smaller needle size for the first inch or so. It is simple in form, fits just right, and so cozy. When I first spotted this colorway, I knew it would be a hat for me (the color in the left photo is most accurate). More details and my cryptic pattern on my
Ravelry.
And now that I got that hat out of my system, I can get back to the regularly scheduled gift knitting. Can you guess what this is?!
I hope you're all warm, wherever you are!
xo!

that hat is lovely!!...and hmmm....a frog??
Brillante cap is brilliant!
Let's see... those look like miniature elephant feet on the right. Or, maybe fancy footies for Kuro? Hmmm
Love, love, loving that hat! Definitely knitting one...My Annri Hat...yes, it must be done! It won't be the first time that I've followed your lead in the fashion or knitting departments, or I dare say, the last. xoxo—alison
